European and Turkish Board Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon Associate Professor Sedat Tatar M.D, FACS, FEBOPRAS graduated from Gazi University School of Medicine in 2008 and started his Plastic surgery training in 2008 and completed his residency at the same University and became a Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist in 2015.

In 2016 alongside his National Board certification, Dr Tatar completed the requirements of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and received the title of “Fellow” of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS). In 2018 he won the European Association of Plastic Surgeons, Young Plastic Surgeon Scholarship award (EURAPS YPSS) and worked on breast reconstruction and aesthetic breast surgery with Prof. Jan Farhadi, at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital Department of Plastic Surgery in London, United Kingdom. In 2019 after he was inducted into the American College of Surgeons and became a Fellow of American College of Surgeons (FACS). This was the milestone of his surgical career and he is the youngest Plastic Surgeon in Turkey whom has this title.
