Filling
Three-dimensional changes occur on our face with aging, weight gain and loss and genetic factors. Skin loosening and sagging are almost always accompanied by volume loss. One of the most effective methods of eliminating volume losses is filling applications.
What is used in filling application?
The most widely used filler is FDA-approved, highly reliable Hyaluronic acid fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide whose primary purpose is to create volume by holding water. The decrease in the density of the skin with aging causes wrinkles and sagging. Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) and poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) fillings are more concentrated fillings. They last longer by stimulating collagen production.
Which areas are filled?
It is applied to the glabella (eyebrow) lines, to plump the under-eye groove, to the vertical lines at the edge of the lip, to contour and volumize the lips, to increase the volume of the cheek and chin, to lift eyebrows, to lift the nose deformities and nose tip, to add moisture to the skin.
How long do the fillings last?
Its effects usually vary between 8-18 months, depending on the crosslink content and particle size. Its effect lasts a little longer on immobile areas such as the chin, nose and cheeks.
